Woodrow Kroll is a favorite author/teacher of mine. In his book Back to the Bible he says the following about Bible reading: "If we Christians blew the collective dust off our Bibles at the same time we'd all get killed in the dust storm. Sata has finally found a way to keep God's people from believing the Bible. It's to keep them from reading it."
The Scriptures loudly proclaim its effectiveness and necessity in the believer's life: 2 Timothy 3:16 - " ALL Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man (or woman) of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
Reading through the Bible is no longer a luxury. Biblical illiteracy has risen to astronomical levels in a nation whose founding fathers relied heavily on the Bible both personally and for a guide in the public service. Today's many politicians neither revere or reads the Bible for fear of upsetting another religious or political group. Th epidemic is indeed grave. Follow us as we hope to restore your faith in God's Word and learn to become truly biblically literate.
